Your family didn’t like your new significant other. Maybe because they’re racists, or perhaps they saw a red flag in them that you were not able to see. Perhaps they were already familiar to your family or friends. Whatever the case is, you were in love and no one was going to prevent you from being with your significant other even if it meant having little to no contact with loved ones.

Now, that you put all your energy into your significant other, the relationship went left. The person you thought you’d spend forever with, cheated on you, physically and or mentally abused you, left you a single mother, etc. If you’re a man, perhaps she did the same.

You’re estranged from your family and now you’re too embarrassed to face them, or too much pride and ego. Whatever the case, you regret not listening to the people who tried to warn you.
